History of Florida Safety Academy
Our History
Florida Safety Academy, LLC was built from years of working in real world construction environments where schedules are tight, expectations are high, and safety has to be practical to be effective. After spending more than a decade in roofing and construction operations, we saw a consistent need across job sites. We build training and compliance support that crews can actually apply, and leadership can rely on.
That experience led to the launch of Florida Safety Academy. It is created to help contractors build stronger safety systems without slowing production. As an OSHA 500 Authorized Trainer with an OSHA 510 certification, David Rakowski established the company to deliver OSHA Outreach training and jobsite-ready guidance centered on OSHA 1926 standards.
Jadine Rakowski joined as Vice President of Operations, helping shape the day-to-day structure that makes our service reliable and responsive. With a strong background in organization, client support, and operational management, Jadine ensures scheduling, documentation, and communication stay streamlined—so contractors get what they need, when they need it, without the runaround.
Today, Florida Safety Academy serves contractors throughout Florida with a straightforward approach—mobile training, field-based coaching, and practical compliance support that meets the realities of the industry.
